Expo dedicated to RF-Mongolia 20th century relations opens in Ulan
ULAN-BATOR, October 7 (Itar-Tass) -- An exhibition of archives
documents dedicated to Russian-Mongolian relations in the 20th century has
opened at the City Museum here on Friday. Original basic interstate
agreements, photographs imprinting diverse ties between the Mongolian
People's Republic and Soviet Russia (then the USSR), as well as Mongolia
and Russia in the last ten years of the past century, as the news agency
Montsame reports, are presented at the exposition.
The exhibition is timed to coincide with the 19th meeting of the
bilateral commission on cooperation in the archives field and dedicated to
the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between
the two countries.
Among the documents are agreements between the two countries'
governments, contracts between organizations and enterprises, diplomatic
notes and telegrams which open little known pages of Soviet-Mongolian
relations. The exhibition will last 30 days.
