Iran to Spend $80mln on Reconstruction of Pakistan's Flood-Hit Areas

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian government will spend $80 million to rebuild houses for flood victims in Pakistan's Sindh province.
An Iranian delegation led by the Managing-Director of the Iranian Housing Society has reached Karachi for initial survey, said the Pakistani National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Spokesman, Irshad Bhatti.

He said that Iranian delegation has reached flood-affected areas of Sindh for initial surveys to make new two-bedroom houses with one kitchen and bath.

He said the Iranian delegation would start making houses after the completion of the survey.

The Iranian government has announced an aid of $80 million to rebuild houses for the flood victims.

An Iranian delegation led by Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar was in Pakistan recently to deliver Iran's humanitarian aid cargo to the Pakistani authorities.
