Turkey imports 2.4 mln tons of oil & products
ANKARA (A.A) – October 12, 2011 – Turkey imported 2.4 million tons of oil and oil products in August, 2011.
According to a report of Energy Market Regulation Board (EPDK), Turkey imported 2,437,097 tons of oil and oil products from 19 countries in August, 2011.
Turkey also exported 690,633 tons of oil in August, 2011.
Turkey imported 821,283 tons of crude oil from Iran, 291,923 tons from Iraq, 160,856 tons from Saudi Arabia, 79,540 tons from Russia and 30,285 tons from Kazakhstan in August.
Oil production in Turkey's Izmit Refinery was 887,941 tons, while it was 672,641 tons in Izmir Refinery, 260,872 tons in Kirikkale Refinery and 107,500 tons in Batman Refinery in the mentioned month.
