Kim Jong Il Provides Field Guidance to Taedonggang Terrapin Farm

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, provided field guidance to the newly-built Taedonggang Terrapin Farm.
He toured a general control room, internal and external terrapin ponds and other parts of the farm to acquaint himself in detail with its construction and terrapin cultivation there.
The farm should turn out 25 000 terrapins in the next year and then more than 100 000 terrapins annually in 2 or 3 years with reliance on its present production foundations, he said.
