Kim Jong Il Visits New Pig Farm and Net-weaving Factory

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il gave on-site guidance to the newly-built Taedonggang Pig Farm and Taedonggang Net-weaving Factory.
The first leg of his visit was the modern Taedonggang Pig Farm built in the area of the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm.
He toured interior and exterior of the farm, including general control room, insemination and delivery sty and pork processing shop to learn in detail about its construction, technical equipment, breeding and caring of pigs and pork processing. He set forth the tasks to be carried out by the pig farm in its operation.
The next leg of his visit was the Taedonggang Net-weaving Factory built on a modern basis.
The factory is admirable in terms of construction and cultured practice, and it is a valuable wealth of the country as it is able to mass-produce various nets for covering orchards with less labor consumption, he said, highly appreciating the feats of its builders.
