Turkish foreign minister calls Ennahda party's leader

ANKARA (A.A) - October 29, 2011 - Turkey's foreign minister spoke to the leader of Tunisia's Ennahda party, the winner of Tunisian elections, on Saturday. Diplotamic sources said Ahmet Davutoglu called Rasheed Al Gannushi and congratulated him on the electoral victory. Davutoglu said he would like to visit Tunisia in the possible soonest time, while Gannushi said he would work to form the new government of Tunisia as soon as possible. Tunisia's electoral commission officially declared earlier on Friday Ennahda party as winner of Tunisia's election, taking 41.47 percent of the vote and 90 of 217 seats in an assembly that will write a new constitution.
