Ahmadinejad advisor receives prison sentence

TEHRAN, Nov. 21 (MNA) – A Tehran court sentenced presidential media adviser Ali Akbar Javanfekr to one year in prison and banned him from engaging in media activities for three years for insulting the Islamic women’s dress code. Javanfekr, the former caretaker manager of the daily Iran, has been convicted of publishing an article in the August 13 special edition of the newspaper deemed to be in violation of Islamic principles.
