Ahmadinejad advisor arrested for disrespecting Islamic principles

TEHRAN, Nov. 21 (MNA) – Presidential media adviser Ali Akbar Javanfekr, who is also the caretaker manger of the daily Iran, was arrested on Monday for the publication of articles and pictures in the August 13 special edition of the newspaper deemed to be in violation of Islamic and moral principles. On Sunday, Khabar Online had reported that a Tehran court has sentenced Javanfekr to one year in prison and banned him from engaging in media activities for three years for insulting the Islamic women’s dress code. Javanfekr is also the manager of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
