Turkey will not stand by governments pointing gun on their people, deputy premier

CAIRO (A.A) - November 27, 2011 - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan said Saturday that Turkey would not stand by governments pointing gun on their people. After the meeting of Economic and Social Council of Arab League in Egyptian capital of Cairo, Babacan told reporters that Turkey wanted bloodshed in Syria to be ended and democratic transformation to be completed successfully in line with demands by Syrian people. Turkey attached a great importance to preservation of territorial integrity, political unity and independence of Syria, he said. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad reached a dead end, Babacan said.
