OIC, Azerbaijan: development of cooperation - priority in foreign policy

Baku, November 28 (AzerTAc). Development of cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Conference is one of the priorities in the foreign policy of Azerbaijan. After restoration of state independence OIC was one of the first international organizations Azerbaijan became member of and this organization has supported Azerbaijan in all questions. It was stated by Ali Abbasov in his meeting with Atta-ur-Rahman, Pakistani, Chairman of the Executive Committee of OIC's Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH). The sides also discussed prospects of cooperation, stressed importance of the 29th session of COMTECH Executive Committee held in Azerbaijan.
