Turkey's foreign minister says murders in Germany have gained different dimension

HAMBURG (A.A) - Turkey's foreign minister said on Thursday murders in Germany had gained different dimension with recent evidence. Ahmet Davutoglu visited the family of Suleyman Taskopru, a Turk killed by ultra-rightists in 2011, in Hamburg, Germany. After his meeting with mother and father of the victim, Davutoglu told reporters that he would try to contact families of as many victims as he could. "We would never want them (families) to fell this agony again, however murders have gained a different dimension with recent evidence," Davutoglu said. Davutoglu said he wanted to show that Turkish executives were ready to extend every type of legal and other assistance, and recent findings had proved that those people were killed just because they were Turks.  The minister expressed belief that assailants would be found and punished, and Turkey would continue to monitor developments because murders had gained a political characteristic. Davutoglu said there was a terrorist organization and the case should be handled by taking this fact into consideration. Turkish executives hoped Germany to take necessary measures, Davutoglu said. Davutoglu also said Turkey would always stand by its citizens. Eight Turks and a Greek national had been killed by Neo-Nazi terrorists in several attacks in the past ten years in Germany. A recent investigation involves a newly-discovered Neo-Nazi cell which is suspected of attacking and killing nearly ten immigrants over the last decade. The neo-Nazi cell was discovered when the German police captured a woman wanted for an armed robbery and two men involved in the robbery killed themselves.  German police also recovered a hit-list of 88 people -- including two German politicians -- to be targeted during a search into the homes of suspected members of the Neo-Nazi gang.
