Iraqis love Turkish beer

ANKARA (A.A) - December 25, 2011 - Almost half of all Turkish exports of beer go to Iraq. In 2010, out of a total of beer exports worth 68.4 million USD, 27.5 million USD worth of beer was exported to Iraq. Turkey's exports of beer to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) were worth 6.5 million USD, Azerbaijan 5.8 million USD and United Arab Emirates (UAE) 4.9 million USD in 2010. In 2010, Turkey imported whiskey worth 21.4 million USD. More than half of all whiskey in Turkey came from Britain.
