FM Spokesman: Ahmadi’s Assassination Case To Be Investigated

Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Saturday that international communities started investigations of Iranian nuclear scientist's Martyrdom Ahmadi Roshani. He made the remarks in an interview with IRNA on the sidelines of a ceremony held in Sharif University in commemoration of Martyr Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, Iranian nuclear scientist, who was assassinated by terrorist groups in Tehran on Wednesday. Mehmanparast said Iran ordered its ambassadors and foreign representatives to inform heads of state of the case. “Enemies tried all possible ways to stop Iran’s development but could not win over Iranians; therefore, they resort to undefendable actions such as assassination of its scientists and elites,“ he added. Foreign Ministry Spokesman said the so-called advocates of human rights claim fighting terrorism, but are committing such notorious and calumnious actions. Mehmanparast said these vicious actions will not stop Iranians' progress, rather would make them more determined to follow the path to development. He said those inspectors who come and visit Iran, introduce Iranian scientists to terrorist groups, but Iran is following the case in international communities./end
