Veterans fund established
(KPL) The National Veterans Federation and The Lao Group Economic Development have
established The Lao Veterans Development Fund.
A Memorandum of Understanding on founding the fund was held in Vientiane on Monday and signed by the Head of National Veterans Federation, Mr. Phommaha Sengkhamyong, and the President of the Lao Group Economic Development, Ms. Bounmy Thapphavong.
The signing was witnessed by the Vice President of Lao Group Economic Development, Mr. Somphone Keomysay, and relevant officials of both sides.
The fund is designed to mobilise both domestic and foreign funding to promote the economic development of the veterans’ families, especially support their income generation activities.
