Saitama prefecture pledges to continue to help Laos

VIENTIANE,01.25.2012(KPL)- Saitama Prefecture of Japan confirmed to continue to help Laos in the field of medical development. Mr. Susuma TAKAHASHI, President of Saitama-Laos Friendship Association has made the statement during his courtesy visit to Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong in Vientiane on 23 January. Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong hailed the visit to Laos of Mr. Susuma TAKAHASHI and his delegation as a significant milestone to enhance the friendship relation and cooperation between Laos and Japan, particularly between Saitama prefecture and Laos. On this occasion, Mr. Susuma TAKAHASHI expressed thanks to PM Thongsing and briefed him on the main purpose of his visiting to Laos which he has led a business delegation from Japan to study an opportunity for investment in Laos, particularly in the field of medical development.
