Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage to Launch A Festival for Eastern European Music and Arts in Doha Wednesday

Doha , January 30 (QNA) - The Ministry Of Culture, Ats And Heritage is to launch on Feb.1 the festival of Eastern European Arts and Music in Doha. Director of the Culture And Arts Department At The Ministry Faleh Al-Ajlan Al-Hajeri said the said festival , the first ever of its kind to be held in the arab region will be held at qatar national theater stage . Addressing a press conference the ministry held here early Monday to declare the festival , Director of the Culture and Arts Department at the Ministry Faleh Al-Ajlan Al-Hajeri said the holding of such an event falls within the directives of HE the minister of culture, arts and heritage dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari stressing the keenness of HE the minister to keep the local , arab and world cultural activities so ongoing as part of the ministry's pursuit to the exchange of the cultures and arts of the world peoples and acquainting the qatari community of such arts. Director of the Culture and Arts Department at the Ministry Faleh Al-Ajlan Al-Hajeri further said that the participant countries are croatia, albania , poland and macadonia noting that a chinese troupe will also take part in the festival due to kick off at qatar national theatre stage on Wednesday evening. For his part, Head of Public Relation and Communication Unit at the Ministry of Culture ,Arts and Heritage Khalifa Abdulrahman Al Hale, confirmed while addressing the same press conference the constant pursuit of the ministry to host such cultural activities including the launch of the festival of Eastern European Arts and Music in Doha to enrich the cultural and artistic movement in qatar. Al Hale said the festival will take place between the 1st and the 7th of February at Qatar National Theatre in Doha. Faleh Bin Ajlan Al-Hajeri, on his part made clear that the Ukranian band will put on show on the first day, February 1st, whereas the Albanian band will Feature on Friday, Febrauary 3rd. The third show will be on February 5th conducted by the polish band and finally the Macedonian band will feature on Tuesday, February 7th. (QNA)
