Thailand-based BJC to expand to all ASEAN markets

BANGKOK, February 7 (TNA) - A leading Thai business firm, Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC), has publicly announced a plan to expand its investment into all other member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). According to the BJC chair, Charoen Siravadhanabhakdi, his company has already explored business opportunities in other ASEAN markets, focused on the growing regional trend for its consumer products and glass containers. The BJC executive acknowledged that the new corporate plan was designed in line with the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community or AEC by 2015. (TNA)
