Al Jazeera 8th IDFF and QPS Organize Photography Competition on April 19th

Doha , February 08 (QNA) - Al Jazeera 8th international documentary film Festival (IDFF) in conjuncture with Qatar photographic society (QPS) are organizing a photography competition entitled "The Future" at Doha Sheraton Hotel starting on April 19th and runs for three days. Photos symbolizing this title in a creative, artistic way will be accepted according to the following conditions: -All photos will be accepted with a maximum range of 5 photos. -The photo size should not be less than A4. -All photos should be presented on a CD with "Tiff" image file format and image quality not less than "300 dpi". -The participating works should be enclosed in an envelope with the title "Al Jazeera 8th international documentary film Festival competition" along with the name of the participant. -Particpant's complete details include, Full name, Nationality, Contact numbers, and E-mail. -All participating works should be handed at the QPS building in KATARA cultural village, building no. 18 or the QPS building at the "Hilal" area behind the Arabic club after 5 pm. -The deadline will be on the 20th of April 2012. -Organizers have the right to use the photos without reference to their owner. -No photos will be handed back to their participants.
