HH the Heir Apparent Attends Annual Purebred Arabian horse Race

Doha, February 09 (QNA) - HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended on Thursday afternoon the annual purebred Arabian Horse Race for the sword and the two prizes of HH the Heir Apparent at the track of Race & Equestrian Club in Al-Rayyan. A number of Their Excellencies sheikhs, the ministers and the horse owners attended the event in addition to a crowd of horse racing fans. HH the Heir Apparent awarded the golden sword after the event to Um Qarn Farm, where HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Thani received the golden sword for the horse "Rayhan", the winner of the fourth main round. HH the Heir Apparent awarded the two prizes of HH to Um Qarn Farm, where HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Thani received the second round winner prize for the horse "Damees", and to coach Yousef bin Taher who received the prize on behalf of HE Sheikh Nasser bin Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani, the owner of the horse Amico Mio, the winner of the third round.
