16 injured Somalis to be treated in Turkey

MOGADISHU (A.A) - February 14, 2012 - 16 Somali people who were seriously injured in a blast that took place in Somali capital of Mogadishu last week will receive treatment in Turkey. Last week a car bomb exploded near the parliament building in Mogadishu killing 15 people and injuring 23 others. Speaking to AA correspondent, Turkish Ambassador in Mogadishu Cemallettin Kani Torum said that Turkey kept assisting Somali people. 16 injured Somalis who were in serious condition would be treated in Turkey, he said. C-130 medical evacuation plane of Turkish Air Forces carrying injured Somali people left from Mogadishu Airport for Turkey.
