Vietnamese company gives office materials Lao Government

(KPL) The Thai Doung Mining Company has provided the office equipments worth VND800million to the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Energy and Mines, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Minister of National Security and Houaphanh province.
The handing over ceremony was held on 2 October between Mr Doan Van Hoan, company’s representative and Mr Somsavat Lengsavad, Standing Deputy Prime Minister.
Vietnamese Ambassador in Laos, Mr Nguyen Huy Quang and other relevant officials of both sides also witnessed in the event.
The materials were given, including 75 personal computers, 34 printers, 12 copy machines and 14 fax machines with a total of VND800 million.
Thai Doung Mining Company was allowed by Lao government to invest in mining surveying in Samnuea and Samtai districts, Houaphanh province, which now is on operation.
At the same day, Lao Soft Drink Company also gave 20 million kip to help flood victims through Mr Somsavat who is also the President of National Flood Prevention Committee.
