Qatari Attorney General Meets French Education Minister

Paris, February 17 (QNA) -HE Qatar's Attorney General Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, who is currently visiting Paris, has met with French Minister of National Education Luc Chatel. The two sides reviewed the relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of culture and education and ways of enhancing them. During the meeting, the French Education Minister stressed commitment to provide adequate support to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in general and to establish cultural and scientific partnerships in particular. He referred in this respect to partnerships through twinning projects between the French schools in Paris and the French - Qatari School Voltaire in Doha for the academic year 2011-2012. The meeting was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to France Mohammed Jaham al Kuwari, and the delegation accompanying HE the Attorney General. HE the Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, is currently on an official visit to Paris during which he had met with a number of French ministers and officials. He also signed a judicial cooperation agreement with French Ministry of Justice. (QNA)
