Blizzard interrupts Ankara-Konya high-speed train services

ANKARA (A.A) - High-speed train services between capital Ankara and central Anatolian province of Konya were interrupted due to blizzard and storm. State Railways Directorate General said on Saturday that heavy snow and blizzard had been influential in some parts of Ankara-Konya high-speed train line, adding that the services had been interrupted due to three-meter snow hills on railway lines. Efforts are under way to open the line, said the Directorate General, adding that the high-speed train services between Ankara and central Anatolian province of Eskisehir were not affected by the blizzard.
