Twenty Six Trainees Pass the MOI Emergency Communications Course

Doha, February 20 (QNA) - The Ministry of interior (MOI) celebrated Monday the graduation of twenty six students of career development course that was held earlier last week at Texas A&M-Qatar campus. The trainees belong to the MOI's communication administration have enrolled the course that focussed on the foundations of the long-term development and emergency communications. The first course dealt with the long-distance engineering development network, the ways of exploring errors and fixing them. Whereas the second course highlighted the emergency calls of the next generation, its various facilities of wireless communications, text messaging, and teleconferencing. Chairman of Administrative Affairs of the Communication Administration brigadier Sultan Al Haramy stressed the importance of the two courses in light of the tangible progress Qatar has been witnessing under its 2030 national strategy vision. Sultan Al Haramy highlighted in an inaugural address at the graduation ceremony that the ministry of interior attained a wide development in the field of developing its communication techniques noting meantime that the Ministry is now adopting the long-term communication technique that is considered the latest available now in the field of the 4th generation communications. Concluding he said that the company producing that technique has certified that the MOI is the first security sector to adopt this technique in the Gulf region, Middle East, Far East, and Europe.(QNA)
