No Raise in Private Schools and Kindergartens Tuition Fees Without Written Consent of SEC

Doha, February 20 (QNA) - Education Institute of the Supreme Education Council (SEC) has announced that tuition fees for private schools and kindergartens shall not be raised without a written consent of the SEC. An official source at the Education Institute that any increase in fees shall not be effective unless it has been formally approved by the SEC. The official stressed that the violating schools will face punitive and administrative measures contained in the Decree-Law No. 7 of 1980 on private schools including the withdrawal of the license of the violating school or kindergarten.
