Turkish business association calls on EU to solve visa problem

BRUSSELS (A.A) - The chairperson of the Turkish Industrialists' & Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) Tuesday called on the European Union (EU) to solve visa problems with Turkey. Umit Boyner said the EU should solve visa problem which had a negative impact on daily life of Turkish people and productivity of business life. "Also, Turkey should not be the party that loses in free trade agreements the EU signs with other countries," Boyner said during a conference on G-20, EU and Turkey at the European Parliament (EP) in Brussels. Boyner said economies of EU and Turkey were complementary of each other, and the EU should decide about what kind of a future it wanted when global economic balances were changing.
