Yemeni minister: Turkey is smiling face of Islamic world

SANA'A (A.A) – March 8, 2012 – Yemen's Industry & Trade Minister Saad al-Din Ali Salim bin Talib said that Turkey was the smiling face of Islamic world. Speaking to AA on Thursday, Talib said that any person from Islamic world could see that Islam and modernity were intermingled in Turkey, adding that Turkey and Malaysia were the only two Islamic countries people could experience this feeling. Noting that Yemen saw Turkey as the strongest country of the Middle East, Talib said that Turkey was a rising star in the world with its economy. We see Turkey as the biggest experience in this geography, said Talib, adding that Yemeni businessmen would visit Turkey and benefit from Turkish model.
