31 Syrians escaping from their country enter Turkey

YAYLADAGI (A.A) – March 12, 2012 – A total of 31 Syrians, who escaped from the clashes between Syrian government forces and opponents in their country, entered Turkey on Monday. They entered Turkey via southern Hatay province's Yayladagi and Altinozu towns. 11 of the 31 Syrians, who had been wounded in their country, were taken to hospitals, and the remaining 20 Syrians settled in tent cities set up by Turkish Red Crescent. Meanwhile, explosions and gun fires in Syria were heard in Turkish villages along the border. Hasan B., a Syrian who left his country, told AA that Syrian soldiers were attacking the villages and people, who managed to survive, were trying to enter Turkey.
