Missing Turkish journalists are in hands of Syrian regime supporters

ISTANBUL (A.A) – Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that missing Turkish journalists were reported to be in the hands of Syrian regime supporters.
We have been informed that the two Turkish journalists, who were missing in Syria, were alive but in the hands of the officials of Syrian regime supporters, Arinc told reporters on Thursday.
Earlier in the day, it was learned that Turkish journalists Adem Ozkose and Hamit Coskun with "Gercek Hayat" news magazine had been handed over to intelligence officials by Syrian regime supporters near Idlib province.
I'm pleased that they are alive, said Arinc, adding that Turkish Foreign Ministry would follow the procedures to bring them back to Turkey.
Ozkose and Coskun reportedly arrived six days ago in the northwestern city of Idlib, a rebel bastion, to cover the Syria crisis. They had not been heard of since then.
Syrian army has mounted attacks on Idlib in regime's latest assault on opposition fighters and civilians in the country.
