Turkey not to let terrorism to harm unity, solidarity

ANKARA (AA) - March 21, 2012 - Turkish prime minister said on Wednesday that Turkey would not let terrorism to harm its unity and solidarity. Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the government would not let anybody to harm Turkey's unity, solidarity and brotherhood by terrorism or dirty and bloody intrigues. "We will continue our fight against terrorism, which targets at our country's unity and solidarity, and life and property security of our citizens, with determination," Erdogan said in a message he sent to Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin. Erdogan's message came after five police officers were killed in operations against the terrorist organization in the southeastern province of Sirnak. Erdogan expressed deep sorrow over death of five police officers, offered his condolences to families of those officers, and wished quick recovery to injured security officers.
