Turkish and Egyptian businessmen discuss investment opportunities

CAIRO (AA) – March 25, 2012 – Turkish and Egyptian businessmen gathered in Cairo on Saturday, and discussed the investment opportunities in Egypt. The businessmen, who met in Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, discussed the economic condition of Egypt, Turkish investments which could be made in the country as well as the problems of Turkish businessmen investing in Alexandria region. Turkish Ambassador in Cairo Huseyin Avni Botsali said that Ro-Ro trips, which were planned to begin between Turkey and Egypt soon, would be a bridge to boost relations, adding that they were exerting efforts to increase the trade volume from five billion USD to 10 billion USD. Botsali noted that the Free Trade Agreement, which took effect in 2007, developed the commerce between the two countries.
