Iranian Navy’s 18th fleet returns home after mission completed

BUSHEHR, April 4 (MNA) – The Navy’s 18th fleet of warships, comprised of a destroyer and a supply ship, which sailed through Egypt’s Suez Canal into the Mediterranean Sea in February, returned home on Tuesday after the completion of its mission to international waters and moored at the southern port city of Bushehr. It was the second time that an Iranian naval fleet had entered the Mediterranean Sea since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
