Lebanon hosts Iranian art show

TEHRAN,April 9(MNA) -- Artworks by four Iranian artists went on display during an exhibition in Bint Jbeil city in Lebanon on April 7 and 8. Calligraphic paintings by Ehsan Yeganeh, carpet designs by Karim Mirzaee, intarsia by Saeid Dahaqi and illuminations by Hossein-Ali Machiani went on display during the event. The showcase was held by Iranian cultural attaché’s office at the Institute of Fine Arts of the Lebanese University from March 31 to April 5. The exhibit, which displayed different types of Persian fine arts, was held under the title of “Originality of Iranian Contemporary Art” in Lebanon.
