Best Behavior Series published in Persian

TEHRAN,April 10(MNA) – The Persian translation of three books “Hands Are Not For Hitting”, “Words Are Not For Hurting” and “Germs Are Not for Sharing” written by Martine Agassi and Elizabeth Verdick are now available in Iran’s book markets. Selected from the Best Behavior Series, the books were translated by Afsaneh Tabatabaii and released by the two publications of Chekkeh and Shahr-e Qalam. “Hands Are Not for Hitting” is a book that shows small children what they should use their hands for. We can use our hands for saying hello, drawing, playing, etc. It tells the reader that “hands are not for hitting. Hands are also for saying goodbye. In “Words Are Not For Hurting”, with gentle encouragement, the book guides children to think before speaking, to choose words that are helpful instead of hurtful, and to say I’m sorry when hurtful words come out before kids can stop them. Author Verdick focuses on what germs are in the book “Germs Are Not for Sharing”. This book teaches the basics of not spreading them: Cover up a sneeze or cough. Hug or blow kisses when you’re sick. And most of all, wash your hands! Martine Agassi, Ph.D., is a clinical therapist with extensive experience as a behavioral consultant, counseling children and families in schools. Elizabeth Verdick has been writing books since 1997. Before becoming an author, Elizabeth edited books for children and parents. These days she writes books for toddlers, teens, and every age in between.
