One minute silence for Piermario Morosini in Persepolis – Al Gharafa match

TEHRAN,April 17(MNA) – A one-minute silence will be observed in memory of Piermario Morosini before the Persepolis- Al Gharafa match on Tuesday. Iran’s Persepolis is scheduled to face Al Gharafa of Qatar in the AFC Champions League group stage in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Tuesday. The Iranian football club has requested that the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) let them to observe one minute silence in memory of the late player. Livorno’s Piermario Morosini, 25, died after suffering a cardiac arrest during an Italian second division game at Pescara on Saturday.
