Iran to introduce 5 new foreign languages in schools

TEHRAN, April 18 (MNA) – In addition to English, the Iranian Education Ministry planned to include the teaching of German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and French languages in schools, a ministry official says. The decision to teach these languages has been ratified by the high council of the Education Ministry, the council’s secretary, Mahdi Navid Edham told . Edham said the purpose behind the introduction of this plan is to break the monopolization of the English language.
