75% of severe blood cancers cured in Iran through cellular grafting

TEHRAN, April 23 (MNA) - About 75 percent of malignant and benign blood cancers as well as genetic and metabolic disease are being treated through cellular grafting in Iran.
“Seventy five percent of malignant and benign blood cancers and genetic and metabolic disease are curable through cellular grafting,” according to Dr. Ardeshir Qavamzadeh.
Qavamzadeh made the announcement as the Iranian Society of Pediatric Hamatology and Oncology is set to host the 11th congress on medical oncology and hematology. Qavamzadeh is the secretary of the congress.
Specialists from the United States, Canada, France, Syria, Pakistan, and other countries will participate in the three-day congress which starts on April 25.
