Persian handicrafts on sale at Oriental Bazaar Festival in Moscow
TEHRAN,April 29(MNA) -- Persian handicrafts and artworks are shining in the Iranian pavilion at the ongoing Oriental Bazaar Festival in Moscow.
Sponsored by the Moscow Municipality, the festival was inaugurated on Friday where artists from 20 countries in the East are offering their products.
Iran is offering its astonishing Persian carpets, miniature paintings, as well as its enamel works and inlaid works created by veteran masters of the country.
Mikhail Yuryev, former Deputy Speaker of the Duma for the Russian Federation, expressed his thanks in the opening speech to the representatives of the countries for introducing their art and culture at the festival.
Veteran master from Isfahan Morteza Jafari is holding a workshop of qalamkari (calico) for interested visitors.
Screening films and animations from Turkey, China, Russia and Kazakhstan are also arranged for the three-day festival.
