Queiroz names Iran squad for Mozambique friendly

TEHRAN,April 29(MNA) - Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz named 18 players for the upcoming friendly match against Mozambique. The Persians will also host the African team on May 2. Iran will also host Syria in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on September 4. Carlos Queiroz’s team is gearing up for the final stage of Asian qualifying for the 2014 World Cup. Iran has been grouped with South Korea, Uzbekistan, Lebanon and Qatar in the competition.
