Senior figures, including reformers, vote in run-off Majlis polls

TEHRAN, May 5 (MNA) – Almost all senior and mid-ranking Iranian officials and clerics as well as a number of pro-reform figures voted in the country’s run-off parliamentary election, which was held on Friday. Among them were Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the late Imam Khomeini, pro-reform figure Mohammad Mousavi Khoeiniha who is the secretary general of the Association of Combatant Clerics, and National Confidence Party deputy chief Rasul Montajabnia who is also a key member of the Association of Combatant Clerics.
