Fire at Bangkok's hotel, one slightly injured

BANGKOK, May 11 (TNA) - A fire broke out at the Swissotel Le Concorde Hotel on Ratchadapisek Road in the heart of Bangkok Friday morning, forcing the evacuation of all workers and people from the luxury hotel. The fire, which started from the basement of the 25-storey hotel building, was put out around noon, but one person was slightly injured for inhaling smoke and was taken to nearby Rama IX Hospital. A metropolitan police force has inspected the scene, assessed damage and is probing the cause of the blaze. (TNA)
