Iran`s Hadad-Adel says will run for post of speaker in next parliament

TEHRAN, May 13 (MNA) – Gholam Ali Hadad-Adel who won the highest votes in the March 2 parliamentary election in Tehran announced on Saturday night that he will be candidate for the post of speaker in the next parliament. Hadad-Adel held the post of speaker in the 7th Majlis (2004-2008). He also ran for the post of speaker in the outgoing parliament, however, he was defeated by Ali Larijani who still holds the post.
