London gallery to display paintings by Iranian artist

TEHRAN,May 14(MNA) -- Iranian pioneer painter Sadeq Tabrizi will hold an exhibition of his latest works at London’s Gallery 8 in October. “I will probably display 30 to 40 paintings during the exhibition and I am now working on the paintings,” Tabrizi told on Sunday. Tabrizi, who directed the Gallery 66 in Tehran, is one of the few contemporary Iranian artists who have made a great contribution both to the creation and the dissection of modern art in Iran. He has displayed his works in many national and international galleries and exhibitions. His works are part of the collections at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, Henan Museum in China, the Abby Grey Foundation, and many other public and private collections around the world.
