Persian classical stories published in Vietnamese

TEHRAN,May 19(MNA) -- A selection of stories driven from Persian classical poetry has recently been published in Vietnam. Thai Ba Tan has translated “The Persian Stories” into Vietnamese. The book contains stories selected from the poetry by Persian poets Ferdowsi, Rumi, Attar, Sadi and several more. The book aims to make the Vietnamese youth familiar with Persian culture and literature through the stories narrated by animals in Persian classic literature, the introduction section of the book says. It also reviews the usage of advice given by Iranian thinkers in older times, being widely welcomed by people those days. Released by Kim Dong Publishing House, the book is published in collaboration with Iran’s Cultural Office in Vietnam. Translation of a selection of Persian poetry is also among Thai Ba Tan’s other credit.
