Top Iranian, German diplomats talk ahead of Baghdad talks

TEHRAN, May 20 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, during a telephone conversation with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle on Saturday, said that the Islamic Republic hopes that world powers will enter the talks in Baghdad with a “constructive” approach. The two officials also expressed hope that the talks between Tehran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) would yield positive results and that a step forward would be taken.
