Iran's Jalili Returns Home

Tehran, May 27, IRNA – Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili, who was in Baghdad to attend negotiations between Iran and Group 5+1, returned home on Saturday evening. After holding negotiations on May 23-24, with representatives of Group 5+1 in Iraq and making pilgrimage to cities of Najaf, Karbala and Kazemeyn, Jalili came back home. During his stay in Iraq, Jalili met with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, Premier Nouri al-Maliki, Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and Speaker of Iraqi Supreme Islamic Council Seyed Ammar al-Hakim. He also met with Grand Ayatollahs Sistani, Fayyaz, Najafi and Hakim. In the process of negotiations between Iran and Group 5+1, the two sides agreed to meet again in Moscow, Russia, in the next three weeks to continue talks./end
