Iran unveils 23 new military electronic systems

TEHRAN, May 28 (MNA) – Twenty three new projects in the field of lasers and electro-optics were unveiled on Sunday in a ceremony attended by Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi. Speaking to reporters, Vahidi said that Iranian scientists design and manufacture new products with their innovation to equip the armed forces of the Islamic Republic with the most up-to-date technologies. He added, “Today, we are witnessing that 23 important and strategic projects in this complicated industry have come to fruition.” He said, “Six different types of search and tracking systems as well as electro-optical fire control systems, which are capable to find, track and fire at air and sea targets, are included in the projects.”
