Iran condemns killing of Afghan civilians in NATO air strike

TEHRAN, May 29 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast condemned on Monday the NATO air strike in Afghanistan, which killed eight civilians including six children. A NATO airstrike killed eight members of the same family, including six children, Saturday night, Afghan officials said on Sunday. The incident happened in Paktia province, in east Afghanistan at around 8: pm local time (5:30 pm GMT), according to a spokesman for the area’s provincial governor.
