Armenian orchestra to give concerts in Tehran in June

TEHRAN,May 29(MNA) -- The National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia is scheduled to give concerts in Tehran in June. Iranian-Armenian conductor and composer Loris Tjeknavorian will lead the orchestra during the concerts, which will begin at Vahdat Hall on June 8. A repertoire, which is comprised of pieces by various composers, has been prepared by the orchestra in rehearsals in the Armenia over the past few days. Each night, one Iranian soloist will accompany the orchestra. The National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia has previously performed several concerts in Tehran including benefit concerts to raise funds for children suffering from cancer.
