Information delegation leaves for China
(KPL) A high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Information and Culture led by its Minister Mounkeo Oraboun left Vientiane on 10 October for China where he will attend the first ASEAN-China Ministerial Meeting on Information, which is scheduled for 13-16 October in Nanning, Quangxi province.
The delegation was seen off at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Information and Culture in the presence of its deputy ministers, directors, deputy-directors of all departments in the ministry.
During the meeting, the Lao delegation will attend a signing ceremony of an MoU on ASEAN-China Co-operation on Information, and participate in a session to discuss and review the past co-operation between ASEAN and China.
The visit is also aimed to further the traditional relation of friendship and co-operation between Laos and China.
